The time for yoga is now.
While I love having my at home yoga practice, something was missing in my life. The pandemic made me realize how much I miss the energy of one on one connections with people.
I’d like to welcome East Angelenos to be a part of a group that fosters acceptance no matter what stage of life they are in. My hope is that we can build community and help support each other with in person and virtual meetings as safely as possible during (and after) the pandemic.
In order to spread positive vibes I have decided to give back to my community with complementary monthly yoga classes at the park. So far I have managed to host 2 classes, socially distanced, with at least 5 neighbors. It has provided me a way to practice new sequences and help others feel more relaxed and in tune with their body and mind.
Many recognize the physical aspects of yoga, but there is also a philosophy that can be incorporated into daily life. Here are a couple entries that talk about it here:
New For 2021
I want to make these things accessible (and fun!) to all by educating, inspiring and discussing how we can live life mindfully on and off the yoga mat. With that being said, we will do a bit more than practice yoga.
-Are you just starting a yoga practice and need some guidance on improving postures and finding better alignment
-Are you looking for a way to prevent common injuries associated with athletic activities
-Are you generally curious about living a life of inquiry and self improvement (in a non-preachy way)
